It’s been some time since we heared about Zibri. Today he blogged again and this time he’s attacking the jailbreak community. Zibri also briefly mentions his upcoming?? ZiPhone release. He still doesn’t think his app is ready for public distribution. Check the post after the break.

Zibri is back lately. First he announced a new version of his Ziphone software and now he responds to the iPhone-Dev team QuickPwn release.

Let me tell you something about the columbus egg and quickpwn.
Quickpwn works exactly on the same principle of ZiPhone:it creates a ramdisk and executes it. In the crafted ramdisk a patcher modifies the OS for activation. It’s conceptually a good work (ZiPhone was indeed a good work).

Not much information is available for the moment but he promises that it will be very apple’ish (1 button click). Hit the read more for this small blog update.

Zibri who we all learned to love and hate has put a message on his ziphone blog. It’s clear that the war between GeoHot, iPhone Dev-Team and Zibri have begon. Will Zibr stop? I will let you read the blog post for yourself so you can be the judge.

I came across the following article on BigBoss his site.
Ziphone Warning
“But Ziphone works fine for me? Why should I avoid it?”

I hear this all the time. It’s simple. Ziphone does permanent changes to your phone. Zibri is a terrible coder that stole most the exploits for ZiPhone and did not create them. Zibri admits that he cannot code. Ziphone does work most of the time. But when it does not work, you are most likely left with an unfixable brick. Other jailbreak software such as iLiberty+, Pwnage, will not leave you with a brick.
