The Wall Street Journal reported that Apple has placed orders for key components used in a next-generation iPhone it is preparing to launch sometime in the third quarter, according to people familiar with the situation. The Wall Street Journal reported that a Chinese court sentenced three people to prison terms for collaborating to steal information from a key supplier regarding Apple Inc.’s iPad 2 several months before its release, the latest outcome from leaks about products made by the technology giant. In a interview with the Wall Street Journal Steve Jobs talked about the App Store and the the removal of malicious apps option that was found in the iPhone by Jonathan Zdziarski. The article speaks the most about numbers of applications that have been downloaded. Just to give you some. super monkey ball has been downloaded over 300.000 times generating a revenue of more then 2$ million. I came across this new article from Walt Mossberg, the well known personal technologist column writer from the Wall Street Journal. Normally i wouldn’t post this as it’s not really iPhone 3G related, but it’s funny that Walt Mossberg names the iPhone 31 times in a review for the Samsung Instinc (that he only names about 19 times :))
