The Blog of Databinge is reporting that he’s hard at work to port all his current applications (Moleskine, WildEyes for Safari, TimeCapsule) for iPhone firmware 2.0 compatibility. The official word on his blog is:
I have been busy reading up on 2.0 SDK and converting my current applications to run on 2.0. Even more so that Pwnage is released now. Sorry if you guys think that I have been ignoring your emails or the forum. I have to put my full attention on the conversion, and everything else on hold.

Hon Cheng from Databinge.com released another update to his populare TimeCapsule application. TimeCapsule is a backup app that makes local copy’s on your iPhone for all the important settings. I’ll take the developers notes to inform you about all the changes to TimeCapsule. This version of TimeCapsule has undergone a lot of changes. The backup location has changed from ~/Library/TimeCapsule to ~/Library/Preferences/TimeCapsule. This may cause the program to be a bit slow at startup the first time you start TC after installation because it will move your TC backups to the new location.

Some days ago i had a very interesting meeting with the people from iPhoneClub.nl. We were mainly speculating what the iPhone is going to bring us in the near future, especially with firmware 2.0 and the appstore coming up. After talking for about an hour we decided it might be nice if we asked the developers their point of view regarding the upcoming appstore and the future of jailbreaking. After some quick decisions regarding the questions, I briefly wrote a e-mail addressed to several developers.
