KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo “who offered accurate Apple information before, multiple times” published a new research note outlining his expectations for Apple’s fifth-generation iPad. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has released a last-minute research report showing “his expectations” for Apple’s iPod Touch update which will be introduced today. Kuo said that he expects the new model to offer new colors , 4-inch display and thinner body, GPS, camera improvements, cross-device compatibility, A5 Chip and a smaller dock connector. Taiwan Economic News reported on Tuesday that the battery pack for iPad 3, scheduled to be massively produced in the first quarter of next year is redesigned to be thinner and lighter and will have a longer service life than iPad 2 edition. The Wall Street Journal reported that Apple has placed orders for key components used in a next-generation iPhone it is preparing to launch sometime in the third quarter, according to people familiar with the situation.
