Apple said that iOS 6, the next version of its iPhone and iPad operating system, will be compatible with devices as old as the iPhone 3GS, which is 3 years old. iOS 6 will be compatible with multiple devices but not all features are available on all devices. Macrumors created a nice “infographic” which you can see above, that shows what features are supported on each device. » Support For iOS 6 Features On Older Devices
The Galaxy S III brings a lot to the table, but definitely one of its biggest features, and one we were most eager to test out, is S Voice. You’re already familiar with the technology because you’ve probably seen Siri — how could you not? — which is Apple’s attempt at the voice assistant. The Galaxy S III’s tech works like you’d expect: speak to it, and it will do its best to fulfill your request. Stuff like, “What’s the weather like?” We asked both S Voice and Siri the same questions, and got similar results. Check out the Siri vs S Voice video after the break. » Apple Siri vs. Samsung S Voice
Apple has just released two new commercials. The commercial above “While helping John Malkovich plan a night out, Siri shows him her funny side”. The second commercial after the break shows “After John Malkovich gets philosophical, Siri is ready with an answer”. » Apple Airs Two New Siri Commercials Featuring John Malkovich
I just published two TV Ads with Zooey Deschanel & Samuel L Jackson, which you can see here. But what if Samuel L Jackson replaces Siri? Check out the video above and have a little laughter, (NSFW).
We found two new iPhone 4S Sire TV Ads with Samuel L Jackson and Zooey Deschanel. These iPhone/Siri commercials look legit with Apple logos and what-not. However, it still has not hit the Apple or Verizon channels, so it is not official—yet. Check the commercial with Samuel L Jackson after the break. » Two New Siri Commercials With Zooey Deschanel & Samuel L Jackson
Lets start this week with some humour. I surfed the web today and came across this funny video about G-Male and Siri called “G-Male and Siri: A Love Story”. Its a where an intelligent device (Siri) meets an other intelligent device (G-Male). This video also features Blackberry, Hotmail, Yahoo, AOL and more. Just watch the video after the break for a good start of the day. » G-Male and Siri: A Love Story
After Japanese Apple has confirmed Italian, Chinese, Korean, and Spanish as new languages to be supported by Siri in 2012. But what about Hindi? Well today we get a look at Siri speaking Hindi through a proxy server via @kunalkaul123. He explained it connects to “my Google API Server,” presumably for the translation, but there is “still lots of work to be done.” Check out a video of Siri speaking Hindi after the break. » Siri Speaks Hindi Via Proxy Server
