2852 US consumers has been asked the question if they will purchase the next gen iPhone or not. %35 has answered the question with yes, they will purchase the next gen iPhone (iPhone 5?) without ever having tried it. Fifty-one percent of respondents said that they will buy the smartphone within the first year of release. Some 30 percent will purchase the device before the end of 2011, while 14 percent will buy it within the first month. An update next month to Apples flagship digital media player may outfit the device in an additional color but may otherwise represent a rather modest refresh when compared to years past, AppleInsider has been told. Steve did it again, Apple announced today that they have sold 2 million iPads in under 60 days. It took only 28 days to sell the first million, and an other month to sell the second million. The iPad passed the 1 million sales milestone faster than the iPhone did. And with the international sales just getting started, “RBC Capital Markets has estimated iPad‘s total shipments to reach 8.13 million units worldwide by the end of the year — which would translate into at least $4 billion of revenue.” But with the 4th-generation iPhone coming this month there is a chance the iPad sales will slow down.
