Apple has released a new television ad called “Metal Mastered”. The commercial shows golden liquid metal morphing into the iPhone 5s and features the song “Ooh La La” by Goldfrapp. Apple most likely waited with the launch of this TV ad because of tight iPhone 5s  supplies, in fact the ad includes a “subject to availability” disclaimer at the end.

AllThingsD reports that according to CIRP’s survey of U.S. consumers who purchased Apple’s latest iPhones during the last days of September, 64 percent of total iPhone sales are iPhone 5s models and only 27 percent are iPhone 5c models.
