We told you before about iPhoDroid, which is a automated Android OS installation for you 3G device. Apple stopped releasing updates for these devices iPhone 2G & iPod 1G/2G since firmware version 3.1.3, so iOS 4 is not compatible with the iPhone 2G and the first gen iPod Touch (and people are complainig about iOS on the iPhone 3G). Luckily the guys from whited00r created a solution for this “sort of”, they created a modded 3.1.3 firmware to replicate iOS 4 on older iDevices. Before you can unlock you iPhone you need to jailbreak it first using redsn0w-beta 0.9.5b5-3. After you jailbreak your device, go to Cydia and add the repo repo666.ultrasn0w.com and search for ultrasn0w (version 0.93). MuscleNerd just confirmed via twitter that they will release a Unlock soon for Baseband 05.12.01, as soon as Apple will release the iPhone 4G. Baseband 05.12.01 is integrated in OS 3.1.3.
