Apple Pushes iOS 6.0 Beta 2 To Developers
Apple has released an over-the-air iOS Beta 2 update. The update weighs in at 332MB for iPhone 4S users. Apple also released Xcode 4.5 Developer Preview 2 and Apple TV Software beta 2. iOS 6 also comes with a fun tweak, when you update your iOS the Setting icon gears rotate while downloading. Apple has seeded build 11G15 of OS X 10.7.5 to developers. This first version arrives as Build 11G15 and weighs in at 937 MB for the delta version and 1.87 GB for the combo version. Apple asks testers to focus their efforts on the following areas:

– Image & Media importing, editing or viewing
– Networking reliability & performance
Apple Increases iAd Payout To Developers To 70%
Good news for Developers, Apple just changed the payout rate from iAds to developers from 60% to 70%,which means 10% more income for iOS developers.
We have made the following changes to the Developer Advertising Services Agreement for the iAd Network, effective immediately. – The revenue share for the iAd Network is now 70% to the Developer.

Apple Drops iOS 5.1 Beta 1
Apple just dropped iOS 5.1 beta 1 to developers. At a first glance the only new feature is dictation support in text input views. Other than that, they have probably fixed the battery issue but we can not confirm that at the moment. In the iTunes Match settings there is now a “Use Cellular Data” option to sync iTunes Match music.
