Google Glass is a tiny computer that mounts to an eyeglass frame and has a small display that is visible only to the user. It includes a built-in camera, GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to give you driving directions, send text messages, showing weather reports and more. It is not available yet, but Joshua Topolsky already experienced using Google Glass and wrote a long article about his experience on The Verge. iOS developer Matthias Ringwald has released a new jailbreak tweak called BTC Mouse & Trackpad that allows you to control your iOS device with a Bluetooth mouse or trackpad and bluetooth keyboard at the same time. This way your iPad can be used more comfortable while at home or at work, perfect for writing long texts or when you gonna use your iPad for a long time. From Hatch & Co comes what they hope will be the answer to the obvious limitations of the iPad when it comes to typing lengthier documents. The keyboard/case, called simply the SKINNY, is in fact just 0.6 inches thick, and works by connecting to the iPad via Bluetooth.
It is dust- and waterproof and boasts a 68 hour battery life, all of which are sure to keep you productive without having to worry about the keyboard not working. At the Media Event Steve Jobs already talked about iOS 4.1 but only told us that iOS 4.1 will be released “somewhere next week”. But now the Apple website is saying that the new firmware will be out on Wednesday, 8th September. iOS 4.1 will bring us new features like the Game Center, the ability to upload HD videos, HDR Photo and Ping inside iTunes. Also it includes really important bug fixes such as, proximity, Bluetooth and iPhone 3G issues.
