Parallax is a new tweak in the Cydia Store that enables you to select a background that will scroll behind your icons on every page. You can change the scroll speed but you need iOS4 to use Parallax. You can get this tweak from the Cydia Store for $1,49 via the BigBoss repo.

A new application is now available in Cydia called Backgrounder, which leaves applications running even after you hit the home button. Traditionally, the iPhone will terminate an application after the home button is depressed to return to the home screen. Backgrounder, as the name implies, lets applications run in the background allowing you to return to them in the future.
