Pebble, the kickstarter project that raised over $10 million has just announced on CES 2013 that the device will begin shipping to Kickstarter backers on January 23. Becasue there are a total of 85,000 backers, it will take 6-8 weeks before the watch will be available for general sale. Research firm Kantar Worldpanel has released data about the Smartphone market share for the September-November period in 2011 and 2012. It shows that Apple has set a record high with 53.3% of the market, compare to 35.8% one year ago. However, Apple is doing less in Europe, where it grow 2.5% compared to last year. Google has just updated its Google Play music service that allows you to add up to 20,000 songs from your music collection to Google Play and stream it to your Android devices and your computer, anywhere you go. This is a service similar to Apple’s iTunes Match service. Reuters report: “Google Inc has made no move to provide Google Maps for the iPhone 5 after Apple Inc dropped the application in favor of a home-grown but controversial alternative, Google’s Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt said.” Apple launched its own mapping service earlier this month, but users are complaining about Apple’s new map service and would love to see Google Maps back on their iPhone.
