An bill of materials for Apple’s upcoming iWatch indicates that the iWatch will launch in the third quarter of this year, reports Economic Daily News. According to the report the iWatch will be manufactured by Apple supplier Quanta Computer, with Richtek Technology and TPK upplying chips and sapphire touch panels. Pebble has announced that the Pebble Developer Portal is now open and that the Pebble app developers can now upload their Pebble apps for distribution in the upcoming Pebble App Store, which will be launched in early 2014. Financial Times reports that Apple is “aggressively” hiring new employees to help with its smart watch project. They also indicate that the “iWatch” may not appear until late next year.
