Pebble, the kickstarter project that raised over $10 million has just announced on CES 2013 that the device will begin shipping to Kickstarter backers on January 23. Becasue there are a total of 85,000 backers, it will take 6-8 weeks before the watch will be available for general sale. DigiTimes reports that Apple will roll out a low-cost version of the iPhone for China and other emerging markets in the second half of 2013, according to supply-chain sources. “Some sources claimed that they have seen the sample of the low-cost iPhone, which will come with a larger display, meeting the prevailing trend for the adoption of 5-inch displays for high-end models. Apple has announced today that customers have downloaded over 40 billion apps since its launch in 2008, with nearly 20 billion in 2012 alone.
