Asymco has released data on operating profits among the eight top mobile phone vendors for the first quarter of 2012. And “not surprisingly” you can see that 99% of the mobile phone market profits are made by Apple and Samsung. Samsung just announced the Galaxy S III at the Unpacked event today in London, and it will be launched in Europe at the end of this month. Samsung is Apples biggest competitor in the Smartphone space.  The Galaxy is upgraded with a 4.8-inch 720P SuperAMOLED display and weights 133 grams. Some interesting features are S Voice (which is like Siri), Scan and Match for Music (which is like iTunes Match) and Airplay-like “AllShare Cast” adapter for streaming your content to your HDTV.
