Revealed in court filings (which were first noticed by NetworkWorld) is a prototype/mock up (“035”) for an Apple tablet created between 2002 and 2004 — years before the iPad came out. It still looks like an iPad, but crossed with an old iBook. The Wall Street Journal
reports that the next generation iPhone will use “in-cell” technology to make the screen thinner. “Japanese liquid-crystal-display makers Sharp Corp. and Japan Display Inc.—a new company that combined three Japanese electronics makers’ display units—as well as South Korea’s LG Display Co. are currently mass producing panels for the next iPhone using so-called in-cell technology, the people said.” This new technology will not only reduced thickness, it would also improve the image quality. » Next iPhone Has Thinner & Higher Quality Screen

A view days ago we wrote about a Russian hacker that released a tool for bypassing Apple’s In App Purchase mechanism, which made it possible to obtaining in-app purchases from iOS apps for free. Now TheNextWeb reported that Apple is fighting back and began blocking the IP address of the server used by Russian hacker Alexey V. 9to5mac reported that Apple.Pro has posted an photo of the next-generation iPhone front. Notice the centered FaceTime camera. It’s a single white frame, the black is just the frame flipped over. Which is new, we’ve yet to see a white iPhone front frame for the next iPhone. 9to5mac also noticed that more of these same frames are leaking out as production is reportedly starting.
