In the movie above you can see a iOS 5 Dynamic Icon Concept. Users have the option of turning on these “dynamic icons” by going to the Settings. Icons are granted the ability to change their appearance given a variety of push notifications. In turn, once the notification badge is pushed, a new icon file is displayed. We are still waiting for the iPad 2 to be unveiled, but a new iPad case for the next gen iPad has already been found and shows some interesting holes. In the picture above you can see two new holes, one in the upper left and the another in the upper-middle. What are they for? Its almost December and its time to starts the iPad 2 rumors. Reports from Taiwan are saying the next gen iPad will include a Retina Display, but is that financially plausible? They also say it will include a USB dock, which will be great and will make the iPad more popular. Is this finally some serious competition for the iPhone as a gaming device? Engadget posted some pictures of a new phone by Sony “not yet released” called the PlayStation Phone. Sony already talked about this phone for a couple of years but never really showed something, but not we know how the phone will look like. We are already waiting for the white iPhone 4 for a long time and it looks like we need to wait even longer. Today TAT has announced that Fujitsu Japan “will reveal a ground breaking dual screen mobile phone user interface powered by TAT’s design and technology initiatives.” We don’t know which of TAT’s features will make the phone, but the dual screen will get “radically changes the user interaction and requires advanced design”. Is this the future? Is this 2014? Or are we getting to far ahead of ourselves?
