One of the most luxurious cases that are made for the iPhone and iPhone 3G are the ones from Vaja. The leather used in the Vaja products is one of the best of the world, it’s full grain cowhide. These hides are from the top ten percent of Argentina’s leather and are selected for quality strenght and grain. I received a specimen for the iPhone some months ago but due to some lack of time i never wrote a decent article about it.

A Swedish designer called Peter Thuvander loves his yo-yo’s so much that he designed an iPhone/iPod charger based upon them. He called it the iYo. The iYo can charge its lithium ion battery cell with an OLPC crank that’s turned using the spinning power of a yo-yo. “The remote control needs only 30 cranks—which is nothing when you yo-yo,” he said. Just 30 cranks and your dignity, Peter. The video demonstrates what a good idea this is:

Yesterday me and Bladerunner went to Paris to the Apple Expo. To be honest we didn’t see much that is worth writing about. However we did see 2 new accesoires that we would like to inform you about. Both are from Griffin Technologies and are called Clarifi and AirCurve. Clarifi is a new case which has one cool special feature i haven’t seen in any other case just yet. This feature is a lens which makes it easier to take close-up pictures with your iPhone 3G.
