Apple Releases iOS 7.1 Beta 3 to Developers
Apple has released iOS 7.1 Beta 3 to developers for testing purposes. The update with build number “11d5127c” can be downloaded via over-the-air update or through Apple’s developer center website. Details about the latest Beta can be found after the break.
Beta 3 includes fixes for audiobook playbook and iCloud account setup with iCloud Keychain. Other things that has been updated are a revamped keyboard, darker icons and a new phone look.
The keyboard in iOS 7 has been slightly revamped: (iOS 7 top, iOS 7.1 bottom)
The green color in the Phone, Messages, and FaceTime apps has been toned down and is now darker: (iOS 7.1 top, iOS 7 bottom)
The Phone app has seen the biggest changes, with a renewed focus on simple, circular buttons:
The “Call” and “End” buttons visible on the dialer have also been replaced with circular icons.
The music player and the shot down screen has also seen some small layout changes.
