Earlier we wrote that Apple will join the Japanese tradition during new year, where retailers will offer a “Fukubukuro” or “Mystery Bag” which can include a random assortment of products sold at a steep discount. Today Apple Stores across Japan have begun selling “Lucky Bags”, which sell for 36,000 yen “$345” and can include anything from iPods till MacBooks.
The bags include a t-shirt commemorating the event, a backpack and a Mophie Juice Pack PowerStation Mini. Different items between the bundles however differ greatly. In the first photo you can see a bag offering a 11-inch MacBook Air with a Power Support Air Jacket, an Apple Magic Mouse, and a Beats by Dre Pill Bluetooth speaker. Other bags offering anything from an iPad Air with Smart Cover, an iPad Mini or 7th generation iPad nano. Other accessoires that are included in these bags are Bluetooth headphones, speakers, IZON View remote camera and more.
The “Lucky Bags” are only sold in Japan. The bags are sold as is, and returns are not accepted unless a product is found to be defective.
