Yesterday we wrote about the release of the MOGA Ace Power controller for the iPhone 5/5c/5s and the fifth-generation iPod Touch. Today Logitech also announced a iOS 7 game controller, which is now available for pre-order. The Logitech PowerShell is just like the MOGA controller compatible with the iPhone 5/5c/5s and the fifth-generation iPod Touch.

Use powerful, precise console-style analog controls to dominate your favorite iOS games – and your opponents – more easily than using on-screen controls. Plus, the analog d-pad, shoulder triggers and button cluster move your hands away from the screen for the clearest view of the action.

A big disadvantage is that the PowerShell doesn’t include analog sticks, unlike the MOGA game controller. The PowerShell also includes a 1500 mAh battery, increasing the available power capacity.

The Logitech PowerShell Controller is available today for $99.99 from and the Apple Online Store, with an expanded international release set for December.
