Apple has just announced the iPhone 5C. This colorful iPhone replaces the iPhone 5 and is aimed at the mid-range priced smartphones. The iPhone 5C will probably be very popular in China, but could also be a good choice for everybody who don’t want to pay an excessive amount of money for a smartphone. So what does this phone have to offer besides a variety of colors and a lower price point? Read on after the break.

As it turns out, the iPhone 5C is basically the iPhone 5 but with a cheaper plastic casing. 

Feature list
It has the Apple A6 chip, 4-inch Retina display, integrated touch, widescreen video, new FaceTime HD camera, more LTE bands supported, Bluetooth 4.0, and 8MP iSight camera with five-element lens.

Special cases
Apple also created special cases for the iPhone 5C. They’re made from hard-coated polycarbonate material. The cases come in the exact color variations as the iPhone 5C. The price is $29 per case.

The iPhone 5C will be $99 for 16GB, $199 for 32GB. On a two-year contract, of course.
