TmoNews report that T-Mobile has implemented vacation blackout dates between September 20 and 22, potentially confirming a prospective September 20 release date for the iPhone 5S and 5C. The blackout period, does not allow employees to take vacation time to ensure that T-Mobile has adequate staff on hand for a large release event.

All the latest rumors point to a launch of the new iPhone 5 models on September 20. Apple’s media event is rumored to take place on September 10, which makes September 20 a likely candidate for release as Apple typically launches its new phones in the United States and other markets approximately a week and a half after they are announced.
