Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has introduced a new home screen experience for Android devices and HTC CEO Peter Chou announced a new HTC First phone. Home is new software available for Android devices and makes everything on your phone friendlier. “From the moment you turn it on, you see a steady stream of friends’ posts and photos. Upfront notifications and quick access to your essentials mean you’ll never miss a moment. And you can keep chatting with friends, even when you’re using other apps.” The “HTC First” will be the first phone to come with “Home” pre-installed and has a 1280×720 4.3-inch displaym a 5MP rear camera, 1080p video capture, up to16GB internal memory, 1GB of RAM, a 2000mAh battery and LTE support.
The HTC First will be available in an array of colors, and will be launched on April 12th as an AT&T exclusive. You can alsready pre-order today just $99 with a two year AT&T contract.
Facebook Home will also be available on other Android devices such as HTC One X, HTC One X+, Samsung Galaxy S III and Samsung Galaxy Note II on April 12th. It will not be available on iOS “at least any time soon”. Check out the video below for a better impression what “H0me” can do for you.
