Official iPad Mini & Fourth-Generation iPad Sales Begin
The iPad Mini and fourth-generation iPad sales have now officially started. In countries such as New Zealand “where it is now in the morning of November 2” first customers have officially purchased the iPad mini and fourth-generation iPad. In the photo below you can see Twitter user @jgriffinz who was one of the first customers to officially purchase the iPad mini in New Zealand and was interviewed by The Wall Street Journal.
jgriffinz confirmed that his iPad mini arrived with the New Zealand version of the 5-watt power adapter rather than the higher-powered 12-watt adapter that is arriving with the full-size iPad.
The iPad 4 and iPad Mini can be bought from 8.00 AM local time in Apple’s own stores today. A number of third-party retailers also start selling the devices today.
