Today at the WWDC 2012, Apple announced the release date and pricing of Mountain Lion and showed some nice new features including dictation, iCloud Tabs, and Power Nap. Apple announced that Mountain Lion will be released in July for $19.99 or free for new Mac owners. Read after the break for more information about the new Mountain Lion features.

Dictation: In OS X Mountain Lion you will be able to use the new dictation feature. By pressing the dictation button, you will be able to speak to your Mac while dictation translates your words into text. Dictation is most likely using the same technique as Siri for iOS.

iCloud Tabs: iCloud Tabs is a new feature shown today at the WWDC, iCloud Tabs will show all the tabs you open in Safari on all other iOS devices and Macs logged in to the same iCloud account.

Power Nap: The new function Power Nap makes sure your Mac stays up-to-date while in sleeping mode. Actions it will do while in sleeping mode are: Downloading your emails, create Backups, update apps and any other actions you set Power Nap to do.
