Clkoerner (via OSXDaily) put together this graphic above, showing the relative number of pixels offered by various devices, including the rumored iPad 3. Also for reference, he includes a 1920×1080 Full HD screen to show that the new iPads screen may dwarf them all.

That is a lot of pixels. You could watch a full resolution HD movie and still have some space for content. On a 9.7 inch screen!

This is however just based on the latest rumors, so we can not promise you that this will be the real deal.
