Apalon, the creator of hit apps called Eye Illusions and Dream Home, is proud to announce the global availability of Magical Images – a new application created for all the fans of optical tricks and illusions. This is an amazing collection of images that were created from scratch specifically for the app and then broken into several frames. A special overlay is used to trigger an animation effect.
Here’s how it all works. Right after launching the app users get to the Home screen where they can see hints on how to grasp the app. By browsing through the entire collection users can easily pick up preferred images and then put a virtual overlay on them. After that all they have to do is move this “grid” either to the left or right for the animation to occur. Fire burns, horses gallop, spiders crawl, rockets fly: this is what Magical Images is all about.
Apalon is the developer of a hit iPhone app Eye Illusions that reached TOP3 Overall rankings on the App Store back in 2010. The winner of the Best Visual Illusion of the Year 2010 contributed to the app by providing unique video illusions. Current Eye Illusions’ user base counts more than 5 million people. Right now the company is expanding its focus on visual tricks and illusions by bringing Magical Images to the App Store and letting users literally control the illusion.
“When you first look at the images featured in the collection, you can notice that images consist of frames, but when you put a grid on them, you make everything move in a lifelike fashion. Everyone will enjoy Magical Images and the fact that it can be used on iPhone, iPod touch or iPad will make the entire experience even more exciting” said Peter Melnikov, VP of Apalon.
You can download Magical Images in the App Store for $0.99.
