Yesterday we told you that Apple will have a “big” iTunes announcement today. Well they did announce something, but it has nothing to do with cloud-based iTunes, longer song previews or anything like that. All they announced today is “The Beatles, Now on iTunes”. This is really disappointing if you ask me, because Apple told us, this will be “Another day. That you’ll never forget”.

From now on you can get a total of 256 songs and other items, including iTunes LP mini-documentary features and a video of the band’s first U.S. concert, all for $149.00.

I don’t know about you, but I will forget this day.

I’ll never forget this day because it was the day Apple cried wolf! It’s going to be hard for me to get excited the next time they say they have some big, secret announcement
