The PlayStation Phone!
Is this finally some serious competition for the iPhone as a gaming device? Engadget posted some pictures of a new phone by Sony “not yet released” called the PlayStation Phone. Sony already talked about this phone for a couple of years but never really showed something, but not we know how the phone will look like. It’s a slide phone with game play buttons like the PSP and runs on Android.
The codename of the phone is “Zeus” and has last seen running Android 2.X, but engadget suspects that the phone will be shipped with Android 3.0. “The device snapped up top (and in our gallery below) is sporting a 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8655 (a chip similar to the one found in the G2, but 200MHz faster), 512MB of RAM, 1GB of ROM, and the screen is in the range of 3.7 to 4.1 inches.”
For more pictures of the device you can check out the two articles by engadget here and here.

If it’s “not yet released” it can’t be much competition, n’est ce pas?
