Apple will replace the complete iPad for just $99 when the battery fails, According to Apple’s web site. They will rather give you a complete iPad then opening your device to replace the battery.
“If your iPad requires service due to the battery’s diminished ability to hold an electrical charge, Apple will replace your iPad for a service fee,” the company said in a support document posted to its website. It added that data will not be preserved on iPads needing service because owners will “receive a replacement iPad that will not contain any of your personal data.”
The complete costs of the “iPad” battery replacement will cost you $105,95, $99 for the iPad and $6,95 shipping costs.
Make sure you create a backup of your iPad before you give it to Apple when your battery fails. Because Apple is not responsible for the loss of information when servicing your iPad.

Ohh beautifull, they let you Pay for theyre mistake.
You buy a Device for 500$ and then you have to Pay another 100$ of it gets broken.

This is for battery replacement.
Most laptop batteries cost $100+.
Sony laptop batteries can cost up to $400 and they don’t replace the whole laptop.
