Bill Gates, iPad Not That Big Of A Deal
We all know Bill Gates, without him the computer business wouldn’t have been this big. But what does Bill Gates thinks of the products his rival Steve Jobs creates. He liked the iPhone but does he like the iPad?
When Steve Jobs introduced the iPad a lot of us where a little disappointed because the iPad didn’t got anything special, no camera, sd, usb ports, just a big iPod. We are not the only one who expected more from the iPad, Bill Gates also thinks the iPad is nothing special.
“You know, I’m a big believer in touch and digital reading, but I still think that some mixture of voice, the pen and a real keyboard – in other words a netbook – will be the mainstream on that,” he said. “So, it’s not like I sit there and feel the same way I did with iPhone where I say, ‘Oh my God, Microsoft didn’t aim high enough.’ It’s a nice reader, but there’s nothing on the iPad I look at and say, ‘Oh, I wish Microsoft had done it.’”

In the first printing of Gates’ “The Road Ahead” he mentions “Internet” like 3 times.
Quite a visionary.
