All About Phones reports TomTom will release more than one update, for the iPhone navigation software application, this year. TomTom promises to add a lot more functionality and an update of the databases of the app.

There will be large updates for the the databases for speed cameras and the databases for the maps. In the following months there will be more than one update according to TomTom. The first update will have a lot more functionality but TomTom couldn’t tell what kind of functionalities.

It’s also still unclear when we can expect the new update but TomTom said that it will be very soon. Maybe the update has been submitted to Apple already and is now waiting to be approved.
