iPhone Becomes WiiMote

A developer succeeded in connecting his Nintendo Wii with the iPhone. The connection is made via Bluetooth. Right now it is only possible to see the movements of the WiiMote on the screen of your iPhone (see video).
Just like the iPhone, the WiiMote also has an accelerometer. This makes it possible to register the movements you make with the mote. Developers could make some pretty awesome games with this development, but Nintendo will probably not allow this.
But then again, developers don’t necessarily have to stick to the App Store. There’s Cydia for rejected iPhone apps.
