In a recent interview, Ralph De La Vega, AT&T Mobility CEO, admitted that an official tethering plan which allow you of using the iPhone as a 3G modem for a laptop is on the way “soon”.

The AT&T CEO didn’t mentioned anything about what sort of plan that will be involved or pricing information. But as we might think that the tethering plan will probably not be including in the standard iPhone plan, you can always use the PdaNet app which is available through Cydia.

    Tethering should be free ¬¬

It will not be free. I suppose AT&T will apply the same tariff plan as they use for the blackberry (+- $65/month)

yee, I’m paying $30 for their shitty network, and they want me to pay more for the same f*** service (same speed and quality) just to be able to use my phone as a modem???? NOT GONNA HAPPEN and at the moment ATT contract with apple ends I’ll switch to other mobile provider !
