Cmw has posted an update regarding a new WinPwn that is compatible with the newest 2.1 firmware. It’s not much information, but it is better than no updates at all. At least we know he’s working on it. Full report inside.

How about just using a custom firmware from someone who used an apple? Then load it using Itunes 8.0 I see a few people doing this.

No one knows. The Dev-Team do not own an iPod Touch 2G, so they have no way to test anything on it.

i was just wondering will i lose my data on my jailbroken phone if i re-jailbreak ?

YES EVERYTIME U JAILBREAK IT U LOSE UR DATA BUT U CAN RESTORE USING UR ITUNES JUST BACK UP UR IPHONE BEFORE RE-JAILBREAK

Hope it arrives soon, I tried loading a prebuilt custom firmware but got the 1600 error everytime. Ended up having to upgrade with standard firmware. Works as advertised but I need Winterboard, Customize & Bossprefs. I hid my stocks icon with Poof and it stayed hidden. Also used Make It Mine to change carrier and it remains customized. (That was cool to see).

couldnt wait any longer ran over to the next door neighbour built a custom ipsw on his mac put it on my pc hit restore and wala! 2.1 bitches!

Does anyone know or heard when the WinPwn 3.0 be released? I have been waiting and waiting and it seems like they are not even working on an update at this point.
