iTunes8 has several new features for ex. the genius service. However some iPod Touch users are reporting another feature that wasn’t publicly announced. Some users tried to install iPhone only applications and they got a pop-up on iTunes that this was refused. It appears as all App’s that are dependent on either: Dial Zero, Distance, GPS Tracker, Jott, Kyte, Loopt, NetShare, Voice Notes and Wooo Button.

This is a big change in Apple App Store application distribution but i totally understand this as most of the Appllications are just not properly supported anyway.
