A while back Braden made a post telling you about how we are coming on both of the repos. Its been a while since everyone has heard from us so i thought id give you a little info of what is going on.
We have definately come a lot further than we were last time we updated you on our repo (as far as setting it up goes). We have all been working really hard to get them set up and ready to go for everyone out there. We (may) even have a few more surprises coming for you later. :)
Braden has been working hard on the Cydia repo and is ready to go. He and Multi now just have to get together and set it up and it will be done.
I have been working on the Installer repo a lot lately and our end is (pretty much) done. Now we are just standing by waiting on rip-dev to set it up. We can do nothing until they do that.
Although we do have one major problem regarding the repos that we need your help with- we need more packages! We are not personally working on anything big such as games but we are working on a few mods and whatnot. we still need your help! if you’ve made a mod/theme/game/ any kind of app that you would like hosted to the entire jailbreak community just send it to jon@iphonefreakz.com and i will get back to you about a few more things i may need (such as where to place .png’s of mods etc).Â
Any kind of app sent into me I will forward to Braden and he will put in Cydia (and vice versa)- therefore both Cydia and Installer will contain the same packages from iPhoneFreakz (we understand some greatly prefer one over the other so they will offer they same apps so you can use what you want). Braden and I have already uploaded some things to the repo but it cannot be accessed until we hear back from rip-dev that the installer repo is ready to go, and Multi and Braden finish setting up the Cydia repo.

Keep them coming guys, awesome work and I have to say that I am a convert to your excellent site with your news seemingly light years ahead of appleiphoneschool etc. Cydia is number one for me now, installer is a long way off being anywhere near as good, but sure the future will be interesting :cool:

good things u guys are doing now i have a one question where is the file located after installing from installer/cydia in iphone (where can i see when i do with winscp)
because i tried to find in var/stash but i coudnt find
anyone have a knowledge please let me know

and hey, remeber the ringtones app on the old software (1.1.4) which let you make ringtones outta the songs on ur ipod, a port of that would be key.
