Reuters is reporting that Dutch navigation device maker TomTom already has a version of its navigation software running on Apple’s iPhone and has plans to sell it to consumers. The announcement came briefly afther Apple’s WWDC2008 keynote.

“Our navigation system runs on the iPhone already,” the TomTom spokesman said. I don’t think it will take long before we see other popular gps software solutions be ported to the iPhone 3G.

GPS is Integrated.. So no hardware.. Only Software buying.. Right ?
And If Google Maps has the GPS Plug-in.. Is this one better…?

    And is it a Freeware ( I doubt ) or a Shareware… ?

3G iPhone does have A-GPS intergated it is a hardware update with aditinal software to go along with it…

The stock Maps application i think will have awesome A-GPS intergration so i see for my personal use no need for 3rd party directional software…

TomTom will definetly not be free but like i said the Maps application that comes with 2.0 firmware on 3G iPhones will have MORE than enough good A-GPS intergraion for me.
