It was less than 24 hours ago that i installed version 2.71 onto my iPhone.
Well Eric Degrange is back with his updated version 2.73 of Ringtones.
The first thing that i notice when running the app, is the new option to skip the checking screen.
The other thing i also noticed is the displaying of free disk space.
According to his forum, some people where asking for this.
I tried the sms conversion functionality and this seems to be better than version 2.71, so he must have fixed a bug :) nice going Eric .
For a more extensive review of jamendo ringtones, please see the Jamendo Ringtones 2.71 now with SMS tones page.

2.73 almost killed Iphone when tried to create a ringtone – although older version worked fine. Everything hang completely when opened a song from iphone collection and it tried to analyze it, I guess – iphone got unresponsive, was not shutting down etc, only full reset helped.
Uninstalled…

John i just posted a small review for version 2.74.
This app seems to have a lot less bugs than the 2.73
I suggest you check it out at http://iphonefreakz.com/2008/04/06/jamendo-ringtones-274-released/.

Sunny,
Normally you should be able to update to the latest version.
There’s no need to uninstall the previous version.
If you really don’t succeed to uninstall ringtones, you can always try to connect to your phone with winscp (see this guide http://iphonefreakz.com/2008/04/05/howto-upload-and-download-files-from-you-iphone-ipod-touch/ ) and just remove the full Ringones app.
if you don’t succeed, just send me a mail and i’ll see what i can do.

When building ringtones there seems to be limit available to the number of contact assignments. All the ringtones show up in the default sounds menu under setting but only 14 will show up while choosing to assign one to a contact. Is this correct?

Aj,
I’ll have to check this, didn’t have the time yet, but i’ll get back to you asap.
