When you search for iPhone Apps on google a new scam site has taken the top of the search listing. iPhoneApps.org has popped up where you can buy 10 of the most popular jailbroken apps for 24.95$. The tag line of the website is ‘iPhone Applications at a price that’s a steal’. Well they couldn’t have chosen a better line as they are actually really stealing your money for nothing. They show us a list of the following app’s (customize, snes, screenshot, video recorder, instant messenger, mms, ringtones, youtube downloader, books, vnc)!

Before you upgrade think about this. Although Cydia is installed with PwnageTool 2.0 there are no App’s available just yet. If you love your 1.1.X app’s i do not recommend to upgrade for now. In the next couple of days developers will start to release updated versions of their popular apps.
» Warning with Firmware 2.0 upgrade
The new firmware for the iPhone and iPod Touch is soon to be released. But so far there are no sollutions to keep your current ‘third-party’ applications on your device. Bigboss send’s out a warning for upgrading to the new firmware, which I will quote below. It all comes down to one thing: Wait for a while after the 2.0 firmware has been released. Developers are working on it and hopefully all it needs is a little patience.
It’s the night of the warnings, first with Fring and now this news.
Jonathan “NerveGas†Zdziarski, all round iPhone hacker and author of the “iPhone Open Application Development†has found out that when you restore your iPhone to any firmware version, your personal data isn’t deleted or overwritten. So if you ever sell or need to bring back your iPhone to apple, think twice about just restoring.
Your mails, contacts, and other data remain on the device after a restore!!
For now there’s no cleaning tool available yet, but i guess with this news, it won’t take very long.
» Warning: Restore doesn’t erase your personal data!
A warning to start with.
DO NOT INSTALL THIS VERSION
It works however it has 1 BIG BIG BUG.
