Turkcell, the leading provider of mobile communications services in Turkey started today with the sale of the iPhone 3G. Next to the post paid subscription fees (€42 and €80/month) it’s also possible to buy an iPhone 3G without subscription, you would have to pay a monthly fee of €129 during the first 5 months and afterwards your iPhone is fully paid.

One of our members (asa) has found the following video from the Brazillian Team where they claim to be the first team to unlock the iPhone 3G. Unfortunately i don’t speak Portuguese so i really don’t understand a word that they’re saying. Anyone want’s to clarify for our other readers? Video after the break.

The French mobile operator Orange will sell the iPhone 3G unlocked. The 8 GB version will make you about €509 (802$ !!!!) poorer and for the 16GB iPhone 3G you will have to cough up 609€ (960$ !!!!). Belgium is expected to have to pay roughly the same, this is due to the fact that selling Sim-locked devices are illegal. The iPhone 3G will be available starting from 17th of July in France.
