The developer of Tris the very popular free Tetris clone received a notice from the Tetris company that he’s violating the Copyright of the Tetris company and therefore the Tris application will be removed from the App Store on the 27th August.

Tetris the popular iPhone Tetris clone received a update to version 3.0. The new version removes the previous “main menu”, “credits”, “info” and “settings”. You now only have 2 buttons remaining which are “Start” and “donate”. A new feature in the game is the possibility to hold your block. this can be handy if you like to keep those long bricks to make a tetris.

Tetris got a update to versio 2.5. There are some new features. Now you have a menu bar that includes: “Main Menu”, “Credits”, “Info”, and “Settings”. The settings option doesn’t do much for now, but you will be able to change the background theme and difficulty in a later release. Once you start the game, you will notice that the color design has been adjusted. Not much difference, but it’s more relaxing on the eyes.

Penguin Panic is a fun accelerometer based game developed by OneFan. It features a penguin and some dropping ice cones. The basic idea of the game is that you need to avoid the dropping ice cones. You can control the penguin by tilting the iPhone or iPod Touch either left or right.

OneFan has released another Tetris clone for the iPhone. The game is built upon Jiggy and reacts pretty well. We already have several different Tetris clones but this one is not that bad. When you start the app you will need to enter your username or just press start. The game itself is easily controlled by tapping the screen to turn the blocks and dragging the blocks to move them to the the correct position.
