Pocket God! Everybody knows that name. The title of an extremely popular game, about Pygmies who live on an island and are under the full control of you. When the game was first released it was simple, and for $0,99 it seemed a bit expensive for what you got. But with the weekly updates the game quickly became one of the most popular and addictive apps in the App Store. Although the game will stay popular, maybe a new game turns out to be a huge hit. It’s created by Mountain Sheep and released by Chillingo ltd. and goes by the name ‘Minigore, episode 1′.

A forum member of touchArcarde discovered that Metal Gear Solid was already available on the App Store, while most of the people didn’t know when the game would be released. Check out the gameplay video after the break.

Hyperdevbox Japan announces the release of ExZeus 1.1, a fast and furious 3D action game for iPhone and iPod Touch. ExZeus is an arcade machine in your pocket. For fans of 3D shooter and action games, ExZeus is a heavy action 3d shooter. The Player has a choice of playing three different robots, Sofia a male robot with average speed and shield protection, Calista a female robot with a high speed but a low shield protection and Dynamis a heavy male robot with low speed but high shield protection.

iDracula is a upcoming app store iPhone game from developer Moregames Entertainment. He describes the game: iDracula is not a RPG kind of game by any means. It has no storyline, no NPC, no other locations. It is actually the same genre as Crimsonland or Alien Shooter on a PC – only one level, but a lot of replayability to beat the high score.

I received a mail from Paramount informing us that they will release a another game based upon a popular movie. Most of you will have seen the Days of Thunder game which has become one of the most popular racing games in the App Store. Paramount will now release a game based upon the ’shooter’ movie with Mark Wahlberg. Hit the break for the video.

Source IT Software is busy with the development of an accelerometer-controlled first person shooter for the iPhone. The goal of the game, called Zombie Mansion, is trying to escape form a mansion full of zombies and kill anybody who gets in the way. From the first screen shots on the developer website, the graphics looks quit nice, but we will have to wait till November for the first tests.
Zombie Mansion will be available through the App Store.

today i have a little review for a game called rRootage.
rRootage is an abstract shooter, created by Kenta Cho and has already been ported to almost any platform you can imagine.
So now it’s iPhone/iPod touch time.

The goal of the game is very easy, blast your enemy into smithereens and stay as long as possible alive.
The game is a little abstract but if you see what the iPhone is capable off with this game, then i can’t hardly wait to see what the developers will be releasing in June.
