Rip-Dev published on their blog a list of improvements made to the latest version of Installer. Personally I think that they are coming way too late with these updates. As Installer was quit inactive for a long time and since the arrival of Cydia, I’m not shure that a lot of people will still use it. I got also some feedback from users that this beta version is still causing a lot of issues (bugs, slowness, restart of the iPhone etc.)

Kate has been available for some time now on firmware 2.0+. Although it was still a beta version. Today Rip-Dev released Kate 2.0. No longer a beta version. Kate 2.0 fixes a all the bugs that where present in the previous version and it also solves the issues with Winterboard.
