People have noticed a change in the account description on the Account Status preferences pane of MobileMe “Apple’s push and sync solution”. Because of the subscriber name change from “Individual” to “Full Member” people now believe there is a chance Apple will create a “Free Member” option. The iPhone Dev Team have now come up with a solution where they solve the push-problem with ‘PushFix’. Team-member @planetbeing announced the fix via Twitter, but says that it is a quick-and-dirty-solution. Yesterday apple posted the second beta of the iPhone 2.1 software to developers for testing. Some developers are reporting they have since recieved the tools from apple to create background apps. Apple told us it would not officially be released to devs until September.
