T-Mobile today announced that the iPhone 3G will be available in The Netherlands starting at just 1 euro for the 8 GB version with a subscription plan. Dutch T-Mobile customers can choose between three price plans starting at €29,95 a month and up to €64,95. Also included is unlimited data at a speed of 2048 kbps download and 384 kbps, free Visual Voicemail and unlimited use of T-Mobile Hotspots in The Netherlands (currently around 1,400 hotspots).

A dealer in the Netherlands has already annouced that he will be selling unlocked iPhone 3G’s starting from the end of July. The prices aren’t cheap, he is offering the 8GB version for 599€ and the 16GB for 698€ !! We already know that iTaly will sell the iPhone 3G 8GB for 499€ and the 16 for 565€. So why does this dealer increases the prices by 100€, and why will they only be available by the end of july? Will they be hacked versions? We will soon find out.

Ok it’s official.
TeliaSonera has received the rights to bring the iPhone to Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.
That’s cool news for all of our european friends :)
There’s only 1 country that won’t be getting the iPhone for now.

According to our Dutch friends of iPhoneclub.nl it might be possible that Rene Oberman, head of Deutsche Telekom may announce on 15 may that they will release the iPhone to some other european country’s.

According to the the head of DT, they have already sold more then 100.000 iPhones, and he thinks that is a big success.
