Yesterday we showed you that Apple is decorating the front of the Yerba Buena center in preparation for their September 12th media event. If you take a look at the banner above it looks nothing more than a nice design, but one MacRumors forum visitor believes the facade show stretched iOS icons. He believes that you can see stretched versions of iOS icons including Game Center, iTunes, Music and App Store in the image and Macrumors created a shrinked down version of Apple’s banner where you can see clearly recognizable iOS icons.

With only 4 days to go till the “iPhone 5” Media Event, Apple started decorating the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts with its typical banners to indicate the upcoming event. MacStories took some nice photos of the Yerba Buena Center where Apple will hold their Media Event on the 12th of September starting at 10 AM PST. iResQ has been slowly building its own iPhone 5 as parts have been coming in and made some high quality close up photos showing that the iPhone 5 is indeed substantially thinner than the iPhone 4S. It is official, Apple started sending out invitations for its September 12 Media Event where they will announce the iPhone 5. If you take a look at the shadow in the picture above you will clearly see a “5”, suggesting that Apple’s next iPhone will indeed be called the iPhone 5. The media event is scheduled for next week Wednesday, September 12. The event will be held at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco and is scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM Pacific / 1:00 PM Eastern. iMore reports that pre-orders for the device will begin on that same date ahead of the already-rumored first wave of launches on September 21.
