For iPhone users with a jailbreak it always remains hard to decide wether to update to the next firmware or not. The questions that circle in your mind are: “Is it already possible to jailbreak?” “Can I unlock it after the update?”. There’s only one webstie that always has an up-to-date answer. And that website now has an application.
Imported iPhones often have the problem that after the jailbreak of OS 3.0, the YouTube application and the Push notifications don’t work anymore. To use you need a friend with an iPod touch or an activated iPhone. » iPhone Dev Team Released PushFix
In the video below you can see how the Dev Team unlocked the iPhone 3GS. Maybe you’ve seen it by now, maybe not. Either way you can watch it back here. It’s nice to see that it’s not that hard to jailbreak the new iPhone, even with OS 3.0. It’s also good to know many people want to help the community and give everybody a chance to do just a bit more with their iPhone than Apple wants you to do. Enjoy! » Dev Team Unlocked iPhone 3GS
