Designer F. Bianco uploaded some pictures to Flickr with some interesting thoughts on what useful changes Apple could make to iOS 7 to improve the user experience. In his concept video he shows a “widgets” mode, that allows users to see quick information or change app settings straight from the home screen.  He also created a quickly accessible settings screen that can slide out from the side to quickly adjust settings. 3D artist  Ricardo Afonso created a new concept of a translucent iPad that incorporates a pair of metallic stripes at the top and bottom, for the home button and FaceTime camera. “Sometimes I like to imagine how the design of some electronic devices will be in the future. In the specific case of tablets and smartphones, I imagine them as just a rectangular piece of glass that blends perfectly with the surrounding environment, without any elements of the hardware that could visually disconnect the user from the content during the interaction, improving the level of immersion and the user experience.» Futuristic Apple iPad Concept

Swedish designer Anders Kjellberg has developed a stylish concept design for Apple’s eagerly anticipated iWatch.

Kjellberg’s design features an iWatch with FaceTime capabilities; it has an 8-megapixel camera built into the face of the watch that is also able to record videos in HD.

The watch will be equipped with a ‘Retina Multi-Touch display’, allowing users to switch between the time, iTunes, Google Maps and other apps that are available on the iPhone and iPod Touch. It will also feature Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capabilities—allowing users to stream music to their headphones.

Although this is only a concept design, it definitely looks like something that Apple might produce. Only time will tell. » iWatch Concept With Retina Multi-Touch Display & More [Pictures]
